Help my friend Kelvin have a funeral for his father
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Lauren, a musician and poet also working in mental health. I've created this fundraiser to support my friend Kelvin to be able to pay for a funeral for his father who suddenly passed away due to sickness and malnutrition earlier this month. I met Kelvin almost 2 years ago, he is also a musician and a very talented one! You can see a video of a rap he made about the loss of his dad further down the campaign as well as a video with him and his mum asking for support.
Here is a message from Kelvin:
My name is Kelvin Okorie and I’m from Nigeria, I’m reaching out to everyone for financial support to enable my family and I to bury my father - the late Mr. Okoro Humphrey Okereke. He passed on in the early hours of 2nd of March 2025. We thought it's only right to keep him in the morgue and bills have accumulated.
Please, we solemnly seek support from anyone who sees this messages and finds it in their heart to assist us with the burial rites and preparations. I do not mean to bother anyone with my personal problems cause everyone’s got theirs but any amount would go a long way… thank you for your support through these trying times. May God bless you all.
His father's funeral is to be held on the 16th May 2025 so we're hoping to raise the money as quickly as possible to pay in advance. As money is raised, I will be transferring the money across to Kelvin regularly to enable him and his family to pay for mortuary costs and bills for the service in the lead up to the funeral date. This is a list of their expenses:
List of burial arrangements of late Mazi Okoro Okerele Humphrey:

Every donation helps, no matter how big or small. Please share this fundraiser as far and wide as you can to support Kelvin and his family give Mr. Okoro Humphrey Okereke the send off he deserves.
