Hi everyone,
I’m writing this today with a heavy heart, hoping you’ll take a moment to read and feel the weight of the situation my dear friend Mijai is going through.
She’s a single mother, one of the strongest women I know. She works tirelessly to take care of everyone around her—her children, her family, her job, and even those who come to her in need. She always puts others first, often at the expense of her own needs. But right now… she’s at her breaking point.
She’s facing the very real and terrifying threat of losing her car—her only means of getting to work, taking care of her children, getting groceries, doctor visits… life. Without it, everything comes crashing down. The repo notice is real, and the countdown has begun.
We have 15 days to raise $7,000 to stop the repossession and bring her some much-needed relief. Time is not on her side, and every single day matters.
She didn’t want to ask for help. In fact, she still hesitates because she’s used to being the one giving, not receiving. But I can see it in her eyes—she’s exhausted, overwhelmed, and holding on by a thread. She’s prayed and cried, and she’s trusting that God will make a way. She believes in miracles, and so do I.
This car isn’t just a vehicle. It’s her lifeline. It’s how she supports her children, keeps her job, and holds her world together. Without it, she risks losing everything she’s worked so hard for.
If you’ve ever been down to your last option, your last bit of hope—please consider helping. Whether it’s $5, $50, or simply sharing this with someone who might give—every act of kindness matters. Let’s be the village for her right now. Let’s show her that she’s not alone.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for giving. Thank you for praying. Together, we can lift her up and remind her that there’s still love and hope in this world.
With gratitude,
Melissa
