My very close friend, who lives in Honduras, recently experienced a life-threatening medical emergency. He went to sleep and couldn’t wake up, and was soon diagnosed with a brain bleed that required immediate surgery. In Honduras, medical care is extremely expensive and must be paid up front every day, which has put an enormous financial strain on his family. His wife is doing everything she can to make sure he gets the urgent care he needs, but the costs are overwhelming and they simply don’t have the resources to cover them on their own.

The money raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward his immediate surgery costs and daily medical care. The hospital requires payment up front, and without help, my friend may not be able to stay in the hospital or receive the treatment he needs to recover. Every dollar will make a real difference in helping him get the care and surgeries that could save his life.
