My friend has always been someone who works hard and takes pride in handling things on her own. Recently, she lost her job, and although she has started working again, the time without income made it impossible for her to keep up with her bills. She’s fallen behind on essentials like rent, groceries, her car note, and car insurance. Despite her best efforts, catching up has been overwhelming, and she’s found herself in a tough spot with no one to turn to for help.

She’s the kind of person who would never ask for assistance herself, but I know how much she needs it right now.
