One of my closest friends, Star, is going through an incredibly tough time. She’s a disabled trans woman being kicked out of her home within the next few days and has no income or safety net to fall back on, as she’s not physically able to work.

Right now, she’s hoping to make it to Seattle or Portland from Eastern Washington, so she can access better resources for homelessness and support. The cost of transportation, basic necessities, medication, and just staying safe is more than she can manage on her own right now.

I want to help make sure she has a safe place to land, enough food to eat, and some money to cover the basics while she works on her next steps, and finding a way to put together a remote income that won’t risk her body further. Every donation will go directly toward helping her survive this transition and the coming months.
