Dear Friends,
My name is Eugene Melnychuk. I am reaching out on behalf of my friend Eugene Bochkarev.
Eugene lives in Kyiv, Ukraine. As many of you know, life there has been incredibly difficult since the war began. The challenges they face daily are overwhelming, but for those of them with disabilities, they can feel nearly impossible to overcome.
Eugene has multiple sclerosis (MS), a disease that has gradually taken away his ability to move freely. Living in a war-torn country already presents immense hardships, but for someone with mobility issues, even the most basic tasks—like going up and down the stairs in his own home—become monumental struggles.
He currently lives in a building without an elevator, and every trip outside requires assistance that is not always available. The ongoing war has made it even harder to find reliable help. That’s why he is desperately seeking to raise $1,200 to purchase an electric stair climber chair. This device would give him the freedom to move independently, safely navigate his home, and regain a sense of dignity in these trying times.
With your generous support, he can secure this vital equipment and improve his daily life significantly. Every dollar brings him closer to mobility and independence. If you are unable to donate, I would be deeply grateful if you could share his story with others who might be able to help.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, compassion, and generosity. Your support means the world to me.
With gratitude,
Eugene Melnychuk
on behalf of my friend
Eugene Bochkarev
