Hi my name is Waheed. I am posting on behalf of a dear friend in need who I have known all my life. This is his story:

My life was stable and moving in the right direction until everything changed in August 2025. I was working and had even secured a new job that promised better long‑term security. But before I could start, I received a message saying the position was no longer available. Overnight, I was left without an income to support my wife and our three children — two of whom are under 11.

Since then, I’ve been trying relentlessly to find work. I was promised opportunities, but each one fell through because someone else was chosen at the last minute. It has been five months now with no job, despite applying everywhere I can. The emotional toll has been heavy, and the financial strain has pushed us into debt. We’ve struggled to cover basic essentials, bills, and rent.

The stress has also affected my health, and I recently suffered an angina attack. I’m doing my best to stay strong for my family, but we’ve reached a point where I need help to get back on track.
