My name is Samantha, and I am reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart. My fiancé, Kemar, has faced a serious medical emergency due to complications from diabetes.

It all began about a month ago with a small cut on his foot. Initially treated by a local doctor with antibiotics and foot cream, Kemar's condition worsened after completing the medication. He was admitted to the hospital with abnormal blood sugar and blood pressure, where doctors discovered his toe had turned black, and required amputation.

After the first amputation, Kemar was sent home with his foot bandaged and instructions to continue dressing changes with local doctors. Despite multiple visits, his condition deteriorated—his foot became warm, blackened from the ankle upwards, and emitted a foul odor. I suspected sepsis and took him back to the hospital. He was admitted again and despite waiting days for treatment, Kemar eventually underwent 7 rounds of debridement and a second toe amputation.

The surgeries were performed in difficult conditions, and the hospital lacks the specialized care needed for his recovery. Jamaica does not have the medical programs or support system to help Kemar heal properly, and he has no

one there to care for him.

We are hoping to bring Kemar to the UK on a visitor’s visa so he can receive the appropriate medical treatment and support in a clean and well-equipped environment. The recovery process will be challenging and costly, but it is essential for his health and future.

The estimated cost for 6 months of medical care is £6,000. We are not asking for full funding but would be incredibly grateful for any donations to help us give Kemar the chance to heal properly.
