Hello, my name is Kris, and I’m currently in Canada. I’m reaching out to ask for help for my father, who is now confined in the ICU at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Hospital in Pampanga, Philippines.

A little over a month ago, my father was hospitalized after suffering from a heart attack and pneumonia. He was discharged after recovering, but just recently, he had to be admitted again to the ICU because of the same heart condition and difficulty in breathing.

The doctors have now advised that he needs to undergo angioplasty as soon as possible to help improve blood flow to his heart and prevent further complications. Unfortunately, the total cost for the angioplasty procedure, ICU care, and ongoing hospital treatment is estimated at around ₱800,000 (approximately CAD $19,000–20,000).

Our family has already used up most of our resources from his first hospitalization, and we are struggling to come up with the full amount needed this time. We are doing everything we can, but we can’t do this alone.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to ask for any help you can give — whether it’s through a donation or simply by sharing this campaign with others who might want to help. Every contribution will go directly toward my father’s hospital bills, medicines, and his upcoming angioplasty.
