My dad, Siddiq, is 75 years old and disabled. Over the past several months, we've been trying our best to save up and pay off an electric bill that just keeps growing, no matter how hard we try. It's been overwhelming, especially since my father relies on electricity for so much—keeping his insulin needles cold, having warm food, and simply staying safe and comfortable at home. The stress of not being able to keep up has been weighing on us, and the risk of losing the apartment has become very real.

My dad has always been someone who could make people laugh until they cried and brighten anyone's day. Since my mother passed away last year, he's been struggling even more, and I just want to give back to him for all the love and joy he's given to me, my mother, and others. Unfortunately, I can't keep up with everything on my own, and it's been hard to ask for help. But I know that even a little support could make a huge difference for us.
