My father is the most kind and loving man you could ever meet. He fought in the Vietnam war and has always been someone who would give the shirt off his back to help others. Despite facing stage four lung cancer, he continues to fight every day and refuses to give up. Seven years ago, he lost his wife suddenly, and not long after, he lost the house where they raised their children and grandchildren—a place filled with memories and love.

Recently, tragedy struck again when a second house fire in seven years took everything from him. This time, he also lost his emotional support dog, Snow Flake, who had survived the first fire and helped my dad cope with the loss of my mom. The pain and loss have left him very distraught and struggling to come to terms with everything that has happened.

We are raising funds to help my father rebuild his life. The donations will go toward housing, clothes, furniture, a shower chair, a wheelchair, and other essentials he needs to get back on his feet.
