My name is Mridu Dhungana, currently residing in Canberra, Australia, and I am raising funds for my beloved father, Naresh Dhungana, aged 60 years, who has been diagnosed with carcinoma rectum, adenocarcinoma, and liver metastasis.

He was diagnosed with rectal cancer in July 2025 and has already undergone chemotherapy at Nepal Cancer Hospital, Lalitpur, Nepal and later continued his treatment at HIIMS, Chandigarh, India. Currently, he is receiving further medical care and therapy at Shuddhigram, Lalitpur, Nepal, as his journey towards recovery continues.

My father is currently living on his own which makes this journey even more difficult for him and us physically, emotionally and financially. He has always been a strong, kind, and hardworking individual who has consistently supported those around him.

Although it has only been a few months since his diagnosis, the treatment process has been intense and emotionally draining for our family. The financial pressure of hospital visits, medications, and ongoing therapy has become very hard to manage, but his care must continue. Therefore, he needs our help to keep fighting.
