Help my father, Juan Macias, recover from colostomy surgery

I’m reaching out to you to ask for your support for our father Juan Macias. My father is in need of an emergency surgery.

Initially, he had a rupture in his intestines which caused him to have a colostomy surgery.

On 11/4/2024, he underwent an exploratory laparotomy. This surgery caused problems which then led to him having infections in his intestines.

On 11/16/2024, my father went back to the hospital to have emergency surgery because due to the infection from the original surgery he needed 30cm of his intestines removed.

It was discovered that his first surgery was done poorly and needed an emergency procedure to try and fix the damage caused by the original poorly executed surgery.

He is currently in critical condition and is needing intensive care, which in Mexico is very expensive and out of pocket up front in order to continue treatment.

I am hoping that with your help and the grace of god, we will have enough money for the medical expenses and god will keep him in his arms and bring him back to health so that my father can get back to being the amazing father, grandfather, son, husband, brother and friend that he is to many people.

Update my father took the surgery well. Today will be the first day he’ll be able to eat solids and we hope his intestines take it well. We appreciate everyone of you for every prayer, donation and support.
