Help my father get suitable treatment

Hi.. My name is Sukhdeep Kaur. My father and mother came to Canada 5 months ago. Two weeks ago my dad began to have some health issues. He had dry cough and shortness of breath when he walked a lot. Earlier I was not able to take him to the doctor as no doctor was taking any new patient. After days of struggle, I was able to get hold of a doctor at a walk-in clinic at Maple Ridge. He told us that it is regular viral infection and breathing issues are due to weakness.

Considering doctor’s medication, he boarded the flight back to India on September 25th, but as he was not able to breath normally, he was denied to fly and he was urgently admitted to the Richmond hospital, where he is receiving treatment at present. The doctors have mentioned that some fluid was accumulated in his lungs and there’s a blood clot as well. We were under the impression that medical and travel insurance have been done by the agent but we did not verify the details. As the treatment is expensive, its hard for me to make the payment single handedly. All my savings have already been used. I am on work visa here. The charges for single day are around $8000 and we don’t know for how long he will have to stay in the hospital. I request everyone to help us as much as possible so that my father can receive proper treatment.
