My father has always been a big, healthy man—a source of tremendous strength in our family—but now he is facing one of the toughest battles of his life. He has been diagnosed with a rare and extremely invasive form of skin cancer. The news has been devastating for all of us, especially as he recently began chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Each session is incredibly expensive, and because he is no longer strong enough to work, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Doctors have said he will need at least 26 rounds of radiation, along with extensive chemotherapy, to have a fighting chance.

Right now, my father is in Mexico, bravely enduring these treatments. I wish more than anything that I could be by his side, but I have to stay here so I can continue to support him financially. The only thing I can do from afar is help cover the costs of his medical care, but I cannot do this alone. That’s why I am reaching out on this page—to ask for help from anyone who has been through something similar, or from those who know me, my family, or my father.
