Help My Father, Alberto Laurete, Recover After Emergency Brain Surgery

Hi everyone,

My name is Annalyn Montes, and I’m writing to you as a daughter in one of the most difficult moments of my life.

Just recently, my beloved father, Alberto Laurete, suffered a severe stroke that resulted in a dangerous blood clot and bleeding in his brain. He was rushed into emergency brain surgery (craniotomy) — opening his skull that ultimately saved his life.

We thank God every day that he survived the operation. But right now, he’s still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), fighting to recover — and we’re doing everything we can to stand by his side.

It's now been over 8 days in the ICU, and the road ahead is long and uncertain. Doctors say he will likely be hospitalized for a month or more, followed by intense therapy and rehabilitation, regular lab tests, medications, and specialized care. His condition is delicate, but we are holding on to hope, faith, and love.

But we can’t do it alone anymore.

We’ve already used up all of our resources to cover his initial surgery, tests, and the first stage of care. Now, we are humbly and desperately asking for your help to continue his treatment.
