Help my father get off island for medical
In late August my dad started having a lot of abdominal pain, which he thought was just from food. However, four months later, he is still in pain, and doctors on Guam can't figure out
what's wrong. He has had many tests, from CT scans to x-rays to ultrasounds to swallow tests, and even had his gallbladder removed. Yet no
progress has been made. He's now been in the
hospital for two weeks, and has had
exploratory surgery, getting cut open from his belly button to his chest, still with no results.
After months of suffering, about 20 different doctor's appointments, and two surgeries, he's been informed that he needs to go to
Good Samaritans Hospital in Los Angeles to
get the medical attention he needs. However, because he's been sick and out of funds, he is
low on funds, and my family can't cover all the
necessary expenses.
All donations will go toward hospital bills and
the cost of ambulance transports. I know that it's trying times for everyone, but any help is and will be greatly appreciated. Even if you can't give, please share the link to this in order to
spread the word.
My dad is an amazing man with a heart full of love and joy. He devotes his life to his family and friends and leaves a mark in the life of everyone who knows him.
