In my big family, we were living the most beautiful life until the horror of war came....

I am Montaha, and I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters, and many nephews and nieces.

I am a teaching assistant (university lecturer) at the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza but all the academic activities stoped because of the genocide. My dream was to study a master abroad but now all I can dream of is to eat a chicken sandwich again one day...

My father Ismail is an operating surgeon working at Al-Shifa Hospital. He is 60 years old and should be retiring but he works for his country and to save his people, without getting any salary.

My mother, 60, was a school teacher.

My brother Mohammed was completing his IT university studies.

My other brothers and sisters are married and have their own family and children.

We had a very beautiful life until the war came and things turned upside down. Life in Gaza stopped completely. We are starving, exhausted, have no way to work and get money, lost our home, got displaced many times from the north to the south to the north again.

I really aspired to study for a master’s degree and complete my life in a beautiful way, but unfortunately now my family have no home, no food, no income.

The money of this fundraiser would help us to eat a minimum, and find a roof.
