Hello, my name is Shaima, I’m a pharmacist. My husband's name is Belal, and he is a pediatrician. We have two children, Hoor (5 years old) and Adam (18 months old). I have created this fundraiser to help my family establish a safe and secure life.

This is my husband, Belal. He was a third-year pediatric resident at Gaza European Hospital. He had 6 months left to finish his training. He was very excited about that. He worked so hard to get to that point.

This is my daughter, Hoor. She just started going to kindergarten in September 2023 (a month before the war began). She was happy meeting and playing with other kids.

We had a beautiful and stable life, but suddenly (on October 7th) we lost everything. We have been displaced from our home which was bombed later on. We lived harsh nights under bombardment and danger. My daughter was waking up every night afraid of the sounds of the bombs, and my son was crying from the sounds of the explosions. I was scared the whole time that I would lose my children. My husband leaves us for days to work in the hospital, saving the wounded and injured, and treating them. He could not leave his work as a doctor and stay by my side and his children, and the situation was getting worse.

We lived days and nights that no one could beard. My children cried constantly and became severely depressed. There was no food or drink.

We need this money to build a stable and secure life. All your help can rebuild our lives. It will help my family live in peace and security.

Here is the breakdown of the money :

• Rent and living needs such as food, clothes, and educational courses in Egypt: which is approximately 800 USD per month for at least 12 months.

• Visa application, flight tickets, and bank account to Germany to complete our training as we lost our work and specialty training in Gaza ~ 12,000 USD

• Fees for money transfer.

• Fees for Gofundme = 2.9%+ 0.3$ for each donation.
