My name is Mahmoud and I am conducting a fundraising campaign for our close family friend, named *Maram Abushaban* and her family in Gaza. Maram lives with her parents, one brother, and four sisters. a family of 8 people — all facing unimaginable hardship.

Life in Gaza has never been easy, but recently it has become unbearable. The family has no source of income, no consistent aid, and no food security. Every day, they struggle just to make it through with the bare minimum.

Maram is also battling *celiac disease*, a serious autoimmune condition where eating gluten damages the small intestine. Because most aid packages contain wheat and gluten products, she cannot eat almost any of the food available. Over the past two months, Maram has lost *8 kilograms* simply because she hasn’t been able to find food that’s safe for her condition. Without proper nutrition, her health is quickly declining.

To make things even harder, they are all girls, and it's extremely dangerous for them to go out and seek help or aid in such unstable conditions
