This year has brought unexpected challenges for my family and me. All summer, work was steady and we were able to keep up with our needs, but as the weather changed, everything came to a halt. Now, with the holidays approaching, I find myself in a situation I never imagined—struggling to cover bills, provide for my son, and keep our spirits up. It’s incredibly hard to admit that we need help, and I feel embarrassed to reach out, but I know I can’t do this alone.

My son is a freshman varsity wrestler, and being able to support him and watch him compete means the world to me. Unfortunately, our car needs repairs, and without it, I can’t travel to his matches. On top of that, the thought of not being able to give him a joyful holiday season breaks my heart. Those who know me understand how much this is affecting my mental health, and how hard I’ve tried to find new work. Despite my efforts, nothing has come through yet, and the weight of these worries is overwhelming.

I’m not expecting miracles, but I hope that by sharing our story, others will understand that financial hardship can happen to anyone. Everyone that has donated your act of kindness will never be forgotten and paid back pr paid forward.....everyone else have a nice thanksgivong and holidays! Any support will go directly toward our bills, holiday expenses for my son, and getting our car safely back on the road so I can be there for him.
