I’m helping my 82-year-old grandmother and parents with everything I can, but it’s not enough to help them escape from the war in Ukraine. Three days ago, the house of their neighbors was destroyed with missiles. Since then, they have lived in constant fear for their lives and were forced to leave their home.

This campaign is an effort to save my grandma and parents by providing financial support and to show them that all their love and dedication to people come back a hundredfold.

As the war started, my father lost his job, savings, and house. Now, my grandmother, mom and dad are trying to escape from Kyiv. Unfortunately, my grandmother has rheumatoid arthritis, which makes travel very complicated.

As you can imagine, the financial costs for a family of three people are significant and unanticipated.

Their domestic travel to Lviv will be expensive and dangerous as all public transportation in Ukraine is not possible. So Phase 1 is getting to the western part of Ukraine. They are planning to rent a place in Lviv to stay for a few weeks to do all the paperwork for my grandmother, who doesn't have an international passport.

Phase 2 is to travel across the border to find a new home, which will take about 3 months and the cost of flights, rent and food for three people is a little over $15000.
