I am asking for help for my household during one of the hardest times in our lives. I live with my fiancee, our three children, one of whom is disabled, and my mother, who is disabled and bedbound. We have been doing everything we can to care for each other, but our situation became even more overwhelming after my stepdad passed away from complications related to cancer. His loss has been heartbreaking for our family, both emotionally and financially.

Because my stepdad and my mother were not officially married, we will be losing our house. On top of that, we are also losing our only vehicle, which makes caring for my disabled child and my disabled, bedbound mother even harder. At a time when we are grieving, we are also trying to figure out how to keep our family safe and continue caring for everyone who depends on us. We are doing our best to stay strong, but the pressure of supporting three children, caring for my disabled child, and helping my disabled, bedbound mother has become more than we can manage alone.
