I never imagined I would be in this position, but life has taken some unexpected turns for me and my three kids. In December, I lost my job, and not long after, I was injured. The recovery has been slow, and I’m still not fully healed, which has made it even harder to find new work. As a result, we’ve fallen behind on our mortgage and rent payments, and now we’re facing the very real threat of eviction and homelessness. It’s a situation I never thought I’d have to face, and it’s been incredibly stressful trying to keep things together for my kids.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward keeping a roof over our heads—covering our mortgage and rent, paying the electric bill, and making sure my kids have food and the essentials they need. Every bit of support will help us get through this difficult time and give me the chance to get back on my feet so I can provide for my family again.

This is very hard for me to do. I’ve never asked people I don’t know for money before, but I believe in the kindness of others. I’ve always tried to help those around me whenever I could, and now I’m hoping that same kindness will come back to help us. I am deeply grateful for any support, and I truly couldn’t thank you enough for helping my family when we need it most.
