My daughter passed away from a brutal murder in December, and she is one of the MMIP people. The pain and grief have been overwhelming for me and my children, and as her mother, I know I will always grieve for my baby girl. We never had the chance to bury her properly. Although we held a service, she remains on the ground in her casket with only a cover, and it weighs heavily on our hearts every day.

My children and I want to travel to the village to say our final farewell to her, even though it will be incredibly hard. There are five of us, and the cost of airfare is very expensive, making it difficult for us to make this journey. We want to honor her memory and give her the proper goodbye she deserves, surrounded by family and community.
