I’ve lived in my home for over eight years, making every payment as agreed and doing everything I could to provide a safe, loving place for my family. Each year, I made payments believing I was building a future for my children. When our landlord passed away unexpectedly, we were devastated to learn that the deed to our home had not been notarized before her passing. Since then, we’ve been fighting in court to keep our house, continuing to pay monthly to cover the loans she had taken out on the property.

Unfortunately, we recently discovered that the payments we’ve been making were not being applied as we thought. Now, we have just days to come up with a large sum or risk losing the only home my children have ever known. This house holds so many memories and represents years of hard work and sacrifice. I have a family of six, including four children, and the thought of losing our home is heartbreaking.
