My name is Stephanie, and I’m reaching out for help for my three beloved rescue dogs and my mom. After finally escaping a 14-year abusive marriage, the last three and a half years have been the hardest of my life. My dogs—Princess, Snowball, and Buddy—have suffered alongside me, and now their health is in crisis. Princess has kidney problems and urgently needs surgery. She’s already lost sight in one eye because I couldn’t get her to the vet in time, and she’s struggling every day. Snowball needs his anal glands treated, has painful ear infections, long nails, and severe skin allergies that I haven’t been able to address. Buddy is battling a urinary tract infection and has large, worrying lumps that need immediate attention. I love them more than anything, and it breaks my heart to see them in pain.

My mom is also very sick. She has PKD disease and has had both kidneys removed. She suffers from dangerously low blood pressure, seizures, and severe anxiety and depression. I’ve saved her life more than once, and she’s all the family I have left. The abuse we endured has left us with a broken furnace, shattered windows, and mounting bills. It’s freezing in our home, and I’m scared for my mom’s health and my dogs’ well-being. I’ve always tried to be a good daughter and a good dog mom, but right now, I can’t do it alone.

I’m asking for help to catch up on bills, repair our furnace and windows so we can stay warm, and get my dogs the urgent medical care they need.
