After moving to Tennessee, I never imagined how difficult it would be to find work. For an entire year, I searched for a job while my family and I struggled to stay afloat. We didn’t fully understand the job market here, and as months passed, our financial situation became more and more stressful. We had to take out loans just to cover basic needs, and unexpected house and car repairs made things even harder. There were days when my bank account was in the negative, and the weight of financial instability affected not just our daily lives, but also our marriage and sense of security.

Now, I am grateful to have finally found a job, but the debt we accumulated during that difficult year is overwhelming. Most of it is credit card debt, and a significant portion came from a loan we needed for urgent brake repairs on our car.
