My family has always been there for others, especially my mom—she’s the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. Recently, we faced a devastating setback when a pipe burst in our home. Water came pouring in from upstairs, and everything on the floor was ruined. We lost all our bedding, our living room set, TVs, mattresses, table set, and bed frames. It’s been overwhelming to see so much of what we rely on every day suddenly gone.

The hardest part has been trying to get back on our feet while dealing with insurance, which has turned into a nightmare of paperwork and delays. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost, and how much we need to rebuild. The support from friends, family, and even strangers means more than words can say. With your help, we can start to replace the essentials and create a safe, comfortable home again.
