My name is Sonny, and over the last two months, my family and I have faced unimaginable challenges. I have suffered three strokes and nine brain aneurysms, one of which ruptured as a result of endocarditis. These medical emergencies led to two brain surgeries, and just last week, I underwent a mitral valve replacement. Now, I am struggling with Afib, which has made my recovery even more difficult and uncertain.

Because of these serious health issues, I have been unable to work and provide for my family. My wife has had to file for FMLA and miss work to be by my side during this time, which has made it even harder to keep up with our bills. On top of everything, I was airlifted to Dallas—nearly four hours from home—adding overwhelming medical and travel expenses to our situation. The stress of trying to keep up with rent, utilities, and groceries has been immense, and with Christmas approaching, I want nothing more than to provide a sense of normalcy and joy for my three boys.
