I fell ill with the flu and pneumonia at the beginning of February, which led to a hospital stay. As a kidney transplant recipient, my situation quickly became more complicated. After being released from the hospital, I went into kidney rejection and had to be admitted again. Over the past two months, I've been in and out of the hospital for different complications, and it's been a challenging time for my family and me.
Now, I'm finally home for the longest stretch since this all began, but I'm still not in good enough condition to find a new job or return to work. My savings have been depleted, and we're struggling to make ends meet, especially when it comes to paying rent. The stress of trying to keep up with daily expenses and making sure I can get to my doctor appointments has been overwhelming.
I'm not one to go out and ask for help—I’ve always tried to give my shirt off my back to help someone in need. But right now, my family and I would greatly appreciate any help possible. Your support will help us cover rent, daily expenses, and gas for trips to and from doctor appointments while I focus on recovery. Thank you to everyone who supports us during this difficult time.
