My family in Jamaica was recently impacted by Hurricane Melissa, which caused severe damage and left them without power. This has made it incredibly difficult for them to care for our sick relatives, especially at night when there is no light. The lack of electricity and reliable communication has also made it hard for me to stay in touch with them and know they are safe.

I am raising funds to provide my family with two generators, solar-powered lights, and a Starlink device. These essentials will help them care for our sick family members, keep the house safe and lit at night, and allow us to communicate more easily. With a generator and Starlink, they will have access to the internet, so I can check in on them and offer support from afar. The solar lights will make it easier for them to move around safely and take care of each other after dark.

This support will also help my sister, who used to run a restaurant before the hurricane. With power restored, she can start cooking and selling food again, which will help pay for medical bills and support our family as we rebuild.
