My heart is heavy even writing this, but I’m reaching out because my family truly needs help right now. Recently, our home was affected by a devastating fire that caused severe fire and water damage. In a matter of moments, everything my children owned was gone. Clothes, shoes, school items, personal belongings—things we worked so hard for—were all destroyed. It’s been overwhelming trying to process how quickly life can change. What makes this even harder is that my two daughters had just celebrated their birthdays on March 10. They turned 13 and 14, and all they wanted was a simple shopping trip. They were so happy and excited, picking out things they loved—and now, everything they just bought is gone. As a mother, it breaks me to see them lose not just their belongings, but that sense of joy and normalcy.
Right now, we are staying in a hotel, but our stay ends on Monday, March 30. I don’t have the funds to extend it, and we don’t have anywhere else to go. Our landlord does have another home available for us, but it will take about 2–3 weeks to complete renovations before it’s safe and ready for us to move in. That leaves us in a very difficult and uncertain situation. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for my children, but right now, we truly need support. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us with temporary shelter, clothing, food, and basic necessities as we try to rebuild our lives during this incredibly difficult time. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing our story. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than I can express. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for standing with my family during one of the hardest moments we’ve ever faced.
