This morning, my family experienced a devastating house fire that changed our lives in an instant. My mom and sister are currently in medically induced comas as they recover from their injuries, and we are mourning the heartbreaking loss of our two beloved dogs, Spirit and Sox. The fire destroyed everything we owned—clothes, beds, and all the essentials that make a home. We are left with nothing but each other and the hope that our community can help us rebuild.

The funds raised will go directly toward helping my mom and sister with their medical needs, providing them with hygiene essentials, and securing temporary housing while we work to get back on our feet. We also need support for new clothing and to cover the cremation costs for Spirit and Sox, who were such an important part of our family. My mom has always been a pillar of our community. She has taken in and raised multiple foster animals, and she's been there for so many of my friends in their times of need—always without judgment, because as she says, only God can judge us.
