On [04/30/2026, my family’s life changed in an instant when a fire broke out upstairs in our home. My 17-year-old daughter lost everything in her room—her clothes, bed, dresser, and all the little things that made her space her own. I lost nearly all of my clothes, and we suddenly found ourselves without power, water, or gas. We don’t know how long we’ll be out of our home, and the uncertainty is overwhelming.

We’re doing our best to keep going, but it’s been incredibly hard. We have three dogs who are struggling with the displacement just as much as we are. Every day is a challenge—staying in hotels, eating out for every meal, trying to keep up with work, and slowly replacing what we’ve lost. The stress adds up quickly, and it’s difficult to see a way forward on our own.

We’re asking for help to cover the basics: replacing essentials for my daughter and myself, covering hotel stays and meals, and making sure our dogs have what they need. My family and I are so thankful for any help that can be given.
