My parents and siblings lost their home in a devastating fire earlier today. We’re still not sure how the fire started, but my mom or dad noticed it in time to get everyone out safely. They had two dogs—one made it out, but the other got scared and ran to a back room. Tragically, we lost that dog in the fire.

The day the house caught on fire was the same day a snowstorm was going on. The roads were covered in snow, and the fire department had a hard time reaching the house since it’s on a steep, bumpy hill. By the time they arrived, the house was already engulfed in flames and everything was lost. My family is distraught and overwhelmed, trying to process everything that’s happened. They’re doing their best to find somewhere to stay and to get clothes and essentials for themselves and their four kids, who are 16, 7, 5, and 2 years old.

Sister(7): Clothes size 7/8 ~ Shoe size 2

Sister(5): Clothes size 7/8 ~ Shoe size 1

All the funds received will help my parents and siblings find temporary shelter, buy clothes, food, and essential items like toothbrushes and soap.
