This morning at 5 a.m., my family and I suffered a devastating house fire that destroyed everything we own. We woke up to flames engulfing our home, and it was only by the grace of God that we made it out safely. While we are grateful that everyone is safe, the loss is overwhelming. All of our furniture, clothes, bedding, mattresses—everything was completely destroyed. It breaks my heart to see my family go through this tragedy, especially knowing how much we depended on the comfort and security of our home.

The funds raised will help us start over. We need clothes for my stepson, my granddaughter (who is 7 years old), my husband, and myself. We also need food, household items, blankets, pillows, furniture, and beds. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us rebuild and provide for our family’s basic needs. Your kindness and support will make a real difference as we try to recover from this loss.
