On the early morning of New Year’s Day, tragedy struck when my parents’ home in Bartlett, Texas, was completely destroyed by fire. In a matter of hours, everything they owned was lost.

My parents are 63 years old, lifelong church-going, hardworking people who have always given back to their community. They escaped safely along with their pets, but sadly, one beloved chinchilla did not survive.

The fire took everything — clothes, family photos, personal keepsakes, glasses, dentures, and all daily necessities. My mother currently needs replacement dentures, which is one of our most immediate and pressing needs.

Despite this devastating loss, my parents are trying to remain strong. My mother is the owner of El Rinconcito, a local food truck in Jarrell, Texas, and she is determined to keep working and moving forward — but rebuilding from nothing is overwhelming.

We are humbly asking for help to cover essential needs such as:

Replacement dentures and medical necessities

Clothing and personal items

Temporary living expenses

Replacing critical documents and household basics
