I left the house at 4:40 for work. Just 31 minutes later, my wife called me screaming—the house was on fire. The fear and helplessness I felt in that tow truck, knowing my wife, daughter, good friend, and non-mobile mother could have all passed in that fire, and I was not there to help them, is something I’ll never forget. By the grace of God, my family and our pups made it out safely, just shaken and in shock. But as far as our home and belongings, we lost everything.

I am a city contract tow driver, working over 40 hours a week, and I do my best to provide for my disabled wife, daughter, and mother. This fire has left us with nowhere to go and nothing to our name. The funds raised here will help us find another home, cover moving expenses, and get the basic needs we lost in the fire.
