This afternoon, my life changed in an instant. I live with my parents, and while my dad and I were sitting at home, my dog suddenly started barking nonstop. When I got up to see what was wrong, I realized my dog was alerting me to a fire coming from our attic. My first thought was to get my dad out of the house as fast as possible. My dad has brain damage and does not understand things well, so I knew I had to act quickly. Thankfully, I was able to get him out safely before the house went up in flames. I am beyond grateful for that, but we lost so much in the fire.

This fundraiser is for my family, including my parents and me, as we try to recover from this heartbreaking accident. The fire destroyed our personal belongings, clothes, wallets, and so many of the things we depended on every day. Right now, we are facing the overwhelming task of replacing essential items and figuring out how to move forward after losing our home and everything inside it. Any support will help us begin to rebuild, recover from these losses, and get back on our feet. Anything helps, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your kindness, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
