My family and I are facing a difficult time after our home was severely flooded by heavy rain. The water rose so quickly that everything inside our house was soon under four feet of water. We lost so many of our belongings, and the damage to our home has left us feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to turn next.

Right now, we are focused on getting the essential things we need to survive—like clothing, food, and basic household items. We also need to start repairing our house so we can make it safe and livable again. The costs are adding up quickly, and it’s hard to know how we’ll manage it all on our own.
