This morning, my family experienced a devastating fire that took our home and everything we owned. In an instant, our lives were turned upside down. My 74-year-old grandmother, my fiancé, our 14-month-old daughter, my fiancé’s brother, and I are now left without a place to call home. The loss is overwhelming, especially for my grandmother, who lost her four beloved dogs, and for my fiancé’s brother, who suffers from diabetes and heart failure and lost all of his medical supplies. Our daughter, who has only ever known this home, lost every comfort and memory she’s ever had.

We are reaching out for help as we try to rebuild our lives. The funds raised will go toward temporary shelter while we wait for insurance, replacing essential clothing, hygiene items, and basic needs.
