Our lives changed in an instant when my parents’ home was devastated by a fire. This wasn’t just my parents’ home—it was also home to my son, my great-niece, and my great-nephews. In a matter of moments, multiple generations of our family lost their home and many of their belongings.

We are incredibly grateful that everyone made it out safely. While material possessions can be replaced, the emotional impact of losing a home is something no family is ever prepared for.

As we begin the difficult journey of recovery, we are asking for help with immediate needs such as temporary housing, clothing, food, medications, toiletries, school and work essentials, and replacing basic household items.
