Hurricane Agatha arrived on the Mexican coast this Monday (May 30th, 2022) and is causing the nightmare in the lives of Mexican citizens. Agatha is the biggest storm ever in the country, with 11 people dead and hundreds displaced.

The Hurricane ended entire villages in the country's south, with the coasts being the most affected area. The storm dumped thousands of mud and invaded and demolished homes through landslides. Several regions were left without electricity and drinking water. Many places have no access to communication.

According to meteorologists, the tropical storm was the worst storm to hit Mexico.

My sister Yoha and her family (kids of 7 and 4 years old) had the opportunity to find shelter at the beginning of the storm. They survived and are safe. However, their home has many material losses.

Eight years ago, they started an educational permaculture project that helped recover the tropical forest in Mazunte. They have welcomed hundreds of people from all over the world. They have worked with the local community and volunteers on constructing ecological sustainability projects, including schools for kids.

My sister's family has always supported others in the community, and now as her sister, I am asking for your generous support so that they can rebuild their home.

The fundraised money will be used to repair their home.

It will help rebuild the building structure loses , restore the lake from where they get drinking water and rebuild the road access and their solar system energy.

Currently, the affected area in the coast of Oaxaca, Mazunte is isolated, without electricity,

communication and limited supplies and water.
