Help Yousef and his Family Rebuild Their Lives and Future!

I'm Yousef and this is my sister Areej, and we live in Gaza!

- Yousef married and has two children, Ahmed and Aser, and he work as a UI/UX graphic designer. He lost his job, and his office in Watan Tower in Gaza after it was completely destroyed on the second day of the war, October 8, 2023.

Our small apartment, located in Al Nada neighborhood in northern Gaza, has been completely destroyed for the second time. The first destruction occurred in 2014, and now it has happened again.

I hope my children can live safely, receive a quality education, and enjoy a peaceful childhood, far from danger. My four year old son Ahmed, has already experienced three wars, including the current one. Even my one and a-half year old son Aser, has witnessed two wars. It's heartbreaking to think their childhood has been so harsh. I pray for brighter days ahead for them, filled with joy and free from the horrors of war.

- Areej takes care of our mother very much and loves her. She works as a lawyer and has an office in Al-Nasr City in Gaza. Her office was completely destroyed in the month of January 2024.

We have nothing left. Indeed, we have lost everything and exhausted everything we have.

My mother suffers from many diseases and needs constant care. She suffers from high blood pressure, diabetes, and weakness in the heart muscle and nerves. She needs medications and constant follow-up.

- Yousef suffers from a permanent increase in platelets and needs his medication, which works to absorb excess platelets, which he has not received for more than 9 months, and it is called hydrea 500mg.

Yousef children also suffer from extreme heat and allergies that affect their bodies greatly, and there are no effective medications to treat them.

We are launching this campaign in an attempt to compensate for what we have lost. Unfortunately, we have lost a lot.

We are sorry we had to do this, but we have been through a lot of difficult circumstances throughout this time!

We understand that the task ahead is daunting, but we believe in the power of will and human solidarity. We feel hopeful and optimistic, trusting that we can overcome these daunting challenges with your help and support.

Our family consists of 6 members:

4 adults (Yousef, his wife, his sister, and his mother)

2 children (Yousef's sons: Ahmed & Aser)

With the funds we hope to raise, we aim to provide and support:

Essential necessities: daily food, clean drinking water, medications, clothing, diapers and baby formula, soap and shampoo, cooking gas, and more. (Prices are extremely high)

(In the future, if the Rafah crossing is Reopened)

We need evacuation fees for 6 people (4 adults and 2 children)

The cost is as follows:

Each adult: $5,000 * 4 = $20,000

Each child: $2,500 * 2 = $5,000

Total: $25,000

Currently, the campaign's target is $61,000 CAD, equivalent to $45,000 US dollars.
