My name is Ahmed, a young man from the Gaza Strip. I was a university student with big dreams in my heart and unquenchable hope despite the circumstances. But suddenly, I had nothing left.
My home was destroyed by shelling, and I was left with no shelter, not even a bed to sleep on. Our universities were closed, and I could no longer continue my studies, not because I didn't want to, but because everything around me was shattered. I lost my source of livelihood and no longer owned anything... no money, no work, not even the most basic necessities of life.
Today, I live on the remnants of hope. I wander among the rubble, searching for shelter, an opportunity, a voice to hear me. I am not alone, but my story is one of thousands that have found no one to tell.
I am not asking for much. Just an opportunity, just to be heard. If you are reading these words now, I am asking you to convey my voice, to help me in any way, even with a word of support. Because in Gaza, even words have become life.
