My name is Natalie, and I am asking for help during one of the hardest times my family has ever faced. Hurricane Melissa destroyed my family’s home in St. Ann, Jamaica, leaving them with a badly damaged roof, soaked mattresses, ruined furniture, and unsafe living conditions. Everything inside the house has been affected by water damage, and they are now struggling just to have a dry place to sleep. On top of this, I am currently unable to work due to an injury. That makes it extremely difficult for me to support them the way I normally do. It breaks my heart knowing they are living like this while I’m recovering and unable to help on my own.

The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing zinc sheets, lumber, nails, hardware, cement, sand, and stone to rebuild the roof. We also need to cover labor costs and replace mattresses so my family can have safe, dry beds again. Every dollar will help restore comfort and security to their lives after this devastating storm.
