Today, my family’s life changed forever. Our home was destroyed in a house fire caused by arson, leaving us—myself, my wife Rachel, our 5-month-old son, and our dog Daisy—without a place to live. The shock and loss are overwhelming, but we are grateful that we all made it out safely. Now, we are facing the difficult reality of starting over from nothing, with only the clothes on our backs and each other for support.

The funds raised will help us rebuild our lives. We need to replace furniture, clothing, and household appliances, as well as secure temporary housing and food. Our septic system was destroyed in the fire, so we’ll need to redo that and get our utilities back on. Every dollar will go directly toward helping us restore a safe and stable home for our family, and to cover any other essentials we need to get back on our feet.

We are a one-income household because my wife is a stay-at-home mom, so this loss is especially hard.
