On December 23rd, my mom, stepdad, my sister, and her little girl lost their home in a devastating house fire. The fire broke out around 1:30pm and quickly destroyed everything they owned—from clothing and furniture to household appliances and precious memories. My mom has always worked incredibly hard, juggling two jobs to pay off the house, and she had just finished paying it off. Tragically, the fire struck due to wiring issues, leaving the house uninsured and my family with nothing.

The loss has been overwhelming for all of us. My sister and her little girl lost all their belongings, and my mom and stepdad are now facing the challenge of starting over from scratch. With no insurance to help, the road ahead feels daunting. We are hoping to raise enough to help them find a new place to live—whether that means rebuilding, getting a mobile home, or simply replacing the essentials they need to get back on their feet.
