On Saturday at 4:30 am, my family’s life changed in an instant. We woke up to a big fire that quickly destroyed everything we owned. There are nine adults, two kids, and our dog, and now we are left with nothing. The fire took away our home, our belongings, and all the important paperwork we need to move forward. It’s hard to put into words how overwhelming it feels to start from zero, but we are grateful that everyone made it out safely.

Right now, we are staying in a temporary place, but it’s not big enough for all of us. We need to replace furniture, electronics, clothing, and so many essentials that were lost in the fire. The kids are trying to adjust, and our dog is safe, but it’s a daily challenge to rebuild. Every bit of support will help us get back on our feet and bring some comfort to our family during this difficult time.
